Like many such fortunate people, I live on a boat on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal and enjoy all of the benefits that come from a life afloat.

However, as a continuous cruiser, I found that the shortage of water points, moving the boat to them and having to constantly think about saving water a problem.

So, back in 2020, I started looking into filters to treat the water directly from the Canal/River or Lake and at the beginning of 2021 fitted a 4 Stage Filtration with Ultra Violet Pack. In August 2022 I changed over and fitted a Reverse Osmosis System, which I have to date. So I have real life experience of both systems.

My water supply is now without the need of a water point.

Having installed my own systems I now offer a full supply, fit and support service.

There are multiple configurations and filters that can be utilised and after a lot of research I have put together two compact and efficient systems which are ideal for boats and although different water source quality effects the length of time filters last, both have produced great results.

These are: Filtration and Ultra Violet (FUV) and Reverse Osmosis (RO). Both different but I will help you work out which system is best for you and your cruising needs.
